Most of you know l love the Lake District. Part of the reason l like keeping fit is so l can walk the fells. On Tues l walked (well, more bum shuffled) Striding Edge on Helvellyn which is a ridge with a steep fall away on both sides and a steep scramble. I did it when I was 26 but have been afraid to do it since.
I'm not saying everyone should do it. But l think my mental strength is much better now because I practice yoga. You might not have a fear of steep mountains but there might be something you are shying away from in your life. Or maybe you want to feel more compassionate. Or maybe you want to feel stronger and more flexible physically.
What happens on the mat follows us off the mat. You will find yourself responding differently in life, changing patterns of behaviour, feeling more vitality, more energy.
Come and try a class. Online yoga is pressure free, no one is watching, you can do as much or as little as you need. I will chat with you beforehand so you feel comfortable with what we do.
